This feature requires that your store is set up with Variants Support.
Dynamic Display Rules for Variants allows you to influence how products appear on your store by adjusting which variant of each product will be chosen to represent it on your product listing pages.
These rules will not change the arrangement of products on the page (like Boost Rules). Instead, they can influence which image, name, price, and more show for each product. Exactly which of these are changed and how it shows will vary from site to site.
Currently, Visual Merchandising and Search Preview do not show any preview of this behavior.
To get started, edit a Visual Merchandising campaign, then open the Variants toolbox on the right hand side of the page.
Select the variant field you want to base your rule on. Then, set up your rule using the dropdown selector and space to the right for value(s).
The order that you create rules doesn't have any bearing on the outcome. All rules will be matched if possible. If 2 rules could match independently but not together, one will be picked arbitrarily.
