How to Block Internal IP Addresses
SearchSpring allows for up-to 5 IP addresses to be saved in order to block their traffic from getting reported. This helps keep your site data clean and prevents internal employees from impacting results.
Step 1: Login to SearchSpring
- Gain access to your SearchSpring account here: https://manage.searchspring.net/management
- Once logged in, go to Advanced -> Advanced Settings under Settings in the main left-hand navigation
- At the bottom of the Advanced page there are five fields to input internal or developer IP’s for blocking. The IP addresses saved won’t have any impact on reporting within SearchSpring. Remember to click ‘Save’ to ensure proper IP allocation.
