Connecting your google Analytics account allows SearchSpring to display important metrics for your website like product sales, product views, and search queries and revenue reports.
When you're first setting up your SearchSpring account, and after you've connected your product data feed, you'll see a message on your dashboard letting you know you know that your Google analytics account isn't connected. Begin by selecting the "Google Analytics - Set Up" widget on the Dashboard.
SearchSpring will ask for permission to view your Google Analytics account. Click "Allow".
Find the Google Analytics profile you'd like to connect to SearchSpring, and click "Use this Profile".
That's it - Google Analytics will now be connected and you'll be able to start viewing our in-depth cross-analysis of that data with our search data.
Wait, what's this about?
If the Google Analytics widget on the Dashboard is saying "Connected, but could not find any relevant data", you most likely need to enable site search tracking and/or ecommerce tracking on your Google Analytics account.
